I have tested the updated BR 187. The new sound is quite different, but may be it is like the real one. But it is really loud! You have to reduce the volume in order to not be bothering you all the drive. But one strange thing I noticed is about AFB behavior! When you activate it, the brakes - BC gauge - goes up to 3,3! This causes a really long time for the train to starts to move! You may also have to select position 6, 7, or 8 on the power control. But this even takes more than 4 or 5 minutes, to start moving. This is not a US very long freight train! Why this happens? Why a speed selector or "cruise control" implies brake application? This does not happens on other locomotives! Furthermore I checked the BR 187 on TSW2 and it is like previous one, so there is no update for it. So this locomotive that was launched for TSW2, will not have the update? It might have it! I have driven TSW2 routes updated to TSW3, and on PS4 there is some issues about performance. Even we can not use the Scenarios and Liveries we had before! As mentioned on other post, if I check Creator's Club all my selected ones appear there, but when you are going to select a route or train, no repaint or new scenario appears! So something is missing about CC, which does not allows to use them. Then I will prefer to still using TSW2 for their routes, in order to have more fun and entretainment. And use TSW3 just for the new 3 routes.
There were fixes for the BR187, but AFB is still not working as it should. It took me a lot of time to find out this is real bug and that I did not miss something stupid.
The sound for the 187 are messed up. If you actually watch a cab ride video or a departure video, you'll know what I mean. The sounds are there but I think the unique inverter sound or whatever it's called is too overpowering. Also when you turn on afb on, the bc goes up. It's also on other locomotives, not just this train. Like the 146 on dra and other ones too
