When you think of the Mosel Valley, beautiful scenery, clear rivers and verdant vineyards probably come to mind. And now, thanks to developers RSSLO, you can drive a large diesel powerhouse to take you there! Read our BR 285 - Out Now article Available now for Train Simulator Classic, the BR285 is an up-to-date diesel-powered version of the Traxx locomotive platform. This is a widely-used locomotive series which can be found at work across Europe, with the BR285 mostly working in Germany. The loco’s 140km/h top speed and ability to work non-electrified routes makes it a very useful member of the loco fleet. Though the Koblenz-Trier route is electrified, diesel haulage can still be seen along it, and now you can add some variety to your own Mosel Valley operations with the BR285. As recreated for Train Simulator by RSSLO, the BR285 runs in a clean paint scheme without operator logos, such as it might have been produced at the factory, and features PZB, SIFA and a realistic train length system, as well as three career scenarios for the Mosel Valley: Koblenz – Trier route.
