I accidently activated Sifa. What is it and how can I disable it on the locomotive? I am only moving .3 miles before the sifa or something engages the emergency brakes and I can't do anything to keep the train going. How do I disengage this or work with this. It's Getting ANNOYING!

I haven’t checked personally the sifa on the 363, I’ll try to remember to check sometime today

if you use the hud anytime SIFA goes off it should flash with a yellow ish exclamation mark as an indicator, you should have about 5 seconds to press “B” before brake application

I suspect the problem isn't Sifa, but the 363's built in safety governor. If you have the transmission in shunting mode, exceeding 25 km/h will trigger an emergency braking.

I had the transmission in long distance and got to 38 mph then it hit the brakes.

In long distance mode, the brakes are applied when exceeding 60 km/h to prevent damage to the loco’s running gear and gear box. 60 km/h equals roughly 38 mph, so that’s what you triggered.

SIFA is where the driver's leg is and PZB is a circuit breaker. When turned on PZB is set to U mode 55 kmh 35 mph on a Yellow signal.
