This is TSW4 on PS5. Trying to complete the BR 442 Introduction. The problem starts at the emergency brake test on the way to Nunchritz. The train stops and it tells me to wait for the brakes to release. 40 minutes later and the brakes still have not released. It won’t let me adjust any controls. Yesterday the same thing happened except the brakes released after about 20 minutes. However, the train would not move, even when I applied full power to the throttle. Resetting simulation physics has not helped. Attached are pictures from my screen.
IIRC on the Talent 2 after emergency brake you have to raise the pantograph, switch on MCB and release the parking brake as well. The latter is the lower button of these three you show in your pic. Give it a shot!

No, it should take only a few seconds at max. The Talent 2 ain't a miles long American freight monster. I´m far away from my PS5 and can´t follow up but I don´t remember this as being a bug. Oh, and set the reverser switch to neutral first, just to make sure.
If the game had you actually press the emergency brake button to do the stop, you may need to re-press that same button before the brakes will come off. Worth a try anyway.
It does tell me to hit the emergency brakes button. Once I do that it locks me out of interacting with any controls until the brakes release. They released once after 20 minutes and several times not at all after 40 minutes.
