PlayStation Br Blue - Livery Designer

Does anyone know what the colour code would be for BR Blue in the Livery Designer and what colour code the front end yellow would be?

Click each colour to get the code. The yellow looks orangey but if you read up, the yellow shade used varied over time.

 

Just curious mat what are you decorating in BR blue? No preserved collection in Livery designer yet, hence why I am asking

 

Nothing just yet. But when the Class 166 comes into the Livery Designer, I might do a BR Blue livery on her for NTP based scenarios.

I really don’t like driving the 101 lol.

Yes please. I have a variety of ideas for preserved collection liveries, hopefully I get the time to do them.

 

Just tried painting a BR 422 using these colours and the Blue doesn’t seem to be BR Blue.

Are any of you able to use your internal connections to find out what codes we would use to get a definitive BR Blue for use in the livery editor?

Don't know if that helps. It has RGB, Hex, CMYK etc

 

Thanks. I’ve used that colour, but it seems too dark.

 

You need to check the colours in an actual game session, the livery editor doesn't have great lighting, I use the above colour that Ruscoe gave you, and while it is dark in the editor, it shows up lighter in game.

This is that colour on a 425 in BR Blue/Grey.

As for yellow I’ve been using 51, 100, 100, but you can go upto 55 on the hue depending on how bright you want the yellow. (The yellow on the 425 was an older colour code I was using and is too bright)

 

Ah yeah. It does look much closer to what I perceive BR Blue to be in your screenshot. Thanks for sharing.
