I was wondering if it is possible to edit the numbering sequence for the BR Blue Class 37's. The basic Class 37 model is a split-headcode variant, which were numbered from 37001 to 37119. The auto-generated numbers go beyond 37119, which is not prototypical and I would like to correct it. Is it possible using the Editor, or do I need to access an asset file directly (as is the case with Trainz Simulator) ?
Great, thanks NEC Railfan.Next question, where would I find said file and what do I need to open it please?
Well, depending on the pack you have, it may vary from mine. I will use the Kuju version as an example. Your Railworks installation should be : C or whatever drive you have steam installed:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Railworks From there go to Assets/Kuju/RailSimulator/RailVehicles/Diesel/Class37/BR Green/numbers.dcsv or similar to this.
So, I ventured into the world of dcsv files and came out alive. Seems to have done the trick! My blue 37s are now numbering correctly. I'll have to sort out the green 37s next. Many thanks, NEC Railfan for your help
I noticed on a Green AP Class 37 that on one side it has a TOPS number, and on the other a pre-TOPS number. I’d never heard of this: is it an error, or did this really happen? (‘Screen grabs’ taken with phone of monitor for speed, apologies about quality!)
Because the way the class 37 model is set up it displays a 5 digit number on the cab side In real life this loco has its old D6757 number on all 4 corners and 37057 only in the Cab https://www.oliviastrains.com/wp-content/files_mf/1586202901370571.jpg https://railtractionphotosbyrichard...avids-station-thursday-9th-february-2017.html Peter
