Was very unusual for a diesel electric locomotive in having two high revving Maybach engines. As I recall, the only other in the diesel electric bracket with two high speed engines were the Napier fitted Class 55 Deltics.
If dovetail were to add a welsh or west country route set in the period it would work. Due to it hauling iron train in Wales and passenger plus freight near bristol.
Agree, the Falcon would be nice addition. Maybe as a second loco in a time apropriate route. Without services DTG isnt goint to develop one of those locos.
I thought they looked like 47s due to the bodyshell, it's because it's their prototype design, ah now I get it, I have to agree here, please add the 53 (47) so we can have the prototype and final design for the Duff
