Just started playing the Rheinstrecke, and am a bit confused about the PZB on the BR103.

When acknowledging the distant signal, the PZB indicators go into restricted mode (70 and 85 flashing alternately). This seems strange, not least as this would give a speed limit of 45km/h (which in this case it doesn't).

Why are all these DTG Loks bugged with such simple things. Couldn't they run them past a couple of people who know how these things should work (Maik?).

It rather spoils the enjoyment of this track.

Fun fact: seems that exactly that Maik did the opsie with it when trying to fix what it was before (also not working). These things are so unfriendly to understand and fix that even i have massive probs to handle it all. Since i need to get onto these things again soon, i will try to fix it again (after i tried to understand it more).

Thanks Maik. Appreciate your help. It’s things like this that drive me back to Zusi.

Although the Niddatalbahn and Vorarlberg seem to work perfectly, so I will keep enjoying them!

Thank you Maik. This has been an issue that has been bugging me with the 103 since the patch. Also sent in a support ticket in hopes it'd get fixed too.

How often is this happening on this route on one end-to-end ride?

Every time. The loco is displaying the blinking 85 and 1000Hz as a 70/85 blink and 1000hz lit up. Whereas it should only be the 85 blinking and 1000hz lit up. The actual PZB restriction is correct, as it is sufficient to brake below 85kph.

Is PZB a core module or is it still scripted for each loco separately?

Best guess would be that its scripted individually. Which would explain why its more often than not problematic and for some locos it works flawlessly and not so much for others. Although imo it should be something that should easily be done right everytime, but hey who am I to judge?

PZB is a core module. It's not the functionality that is the problem, it's just the visual stuff in the loco that has the problem. PZB is working fine, it just displays wrong things. Visual implementation is per loco as this can differ.

Is there any news on this. I'm back into TSW now that VR works, and took the 103 for a trip down the Rhein. The restricted mode is still flashing when it shouldn't be. The 110 seems fine (as does the 628). Anyone clever enough make a mod to fix the 103?

I guess if there ever is an update to the 103, perhaps the LZB could be fine-tuned a little too. It has core functionality but some things don't work super well I feel...Afterall, it is still spawnable on LZB routes...
