I frequently run into an odd situation with the BR111which I don't understand: I am cruising at a certain speed and I pull back the throttle from the normal power section (not taps) to 0. Taps go down as expected. But then, after a while, all of a sudden, taps increase by themselves to full power and the engine speeds up, with the throttle handle still at 0. The only thing which helps is to use the train break, which makes the taps go down to 0. What is going on there? Also, when I have the HUD on, where it shopws the power level set be the throttle, sometimes I see a white "1", and sometimes the "1" is yellow. Do you happen to know what the difference is? Lastly... is there a BR111 manual which explains these details? I was not able to find one. Kind regards from Germany! Mikael
I think I begin to understand what I did... moved the throttle to one "+1 tap" (instead of 0) while breaks where still releasing... once the brakes where fully realized and power came back, taps started to count upwards. Need to get used to this kind of throttle.
