I'm sure there's a switch in the BR143 that turns on a light in the corridor, but I can't find it. I can see a switch that looks like it but I can't press on it (I guess that's the second button in the game that doesn't work).
I believe the 'corridor' light only works on the 155 and the 182. You'll have to use your flashlight in the corridor of the 143
