Even if viewdistance is still a bit short in the center area of the light cone compared to real trains I think this is best headlight illumination in game so far. It looks clear and natural, it has good fading on the sides and ahead, it does not saturate the scenery colors and it illuminates properly the boards and signal plates at a reasonable distance, even while in the fading area. That´s the Rapid Transit tunnel for the example.

Please use whatever you implemented on that locomotive on the rest using high beams too. The locomotive exterior is so nice that I couldn´t resist to take a picture of it... :)

Another good headlight implementation example, in this case for the american content: Gallery cars in Peninsula Corridor. There the problem is the tunnel internal light itself (you see a moving white end ahead caused by the exterior light) but the rolling stock illumination is very nice as well, with clear light and with very good distant fading. This is arriving to San Francisco.

Nice lights on the 182, including the gauge lights; this might be my favorite German loco. I hope we can get some passenger services for it in layers on other routes.

By the way, I just discovered the double click on the throttle tool to measure train distance thanks to your excellent guide here:

I love being able to use that tool. And I love the noise it makes when the end of your train reaches where the engine was when you double clicked! Many thanks!
