    Hi all,

so when I logged into Steam today I was rather pleasantly surprised by seeing the news the 187 was released. Took me quite unexpected as I'm not on this forum everyday and the last time I looked at a roadmap was a few weeks ago (and back then I actually asked myself like "damn, wonder if the 187 will ever see the light of day"). So, immediately I purchased it and while Steam was running some more updates I was on the forum and suddenly, the very negative reviews dawned on me. I was literally like "Oh no..." So, I booted up TSW2 and I was not disappointed by the loco. Reusing sound of some other loco is one thing (as it has been discussed quite extensively on the forums here), but it being one of the broken sounds is another. This must mean since the DRA release kinda fixed the sound, that skyhook didn't even bother to at least update it to the not-so-broken one. Great. The sound issue aside, how come there are those little obvious bugs like the whole MFD and PZB display? Surely it had to have been noticed? What struck me is that, as I like to change the contrast of the MFDs to white during the day I immediately noticed that if you do so literally the whole MFD gets white. Everything that should be black is either white as well or a very light gray. Bravo. Sidenote: this same problem more or less exists with some of DTGs rolling stock, namely the BR425 and BR422 where the contrast has the same weird effect. Or the ICE 3 where the contrast has no effect at all. This is another thing where I really ask myself why can't you LOVE**** bother to make these small things right at least. If it works in locos like the 101 or 146 for example, surely it can't be rocket science to get it to work for other ones as well? Then the headlight thing. So when on the normal running lights, the third central light is not on at all. Another one of those simple things that is oh so obvious and easy to get right. But nah, not this time. Cue the central light turning on when using the high beams.
And theres probably more faulty stuff to discover, but I honestly couldn't be bothered driving more than a kilometre in the loco. Sorry - really wish it wasn't like that.
I have to give credit where credit is due and that is the model being quite good and i think the addition of an engine room is also a welcome thing. (Even tho there's really not anything going on in there.)

It really is a sad case as I was extremely looking forward to the 187 since it appeared on the roadmap the first time. I hope it gets fixed either by skyhook games or by some mods. If that is not the case, thanks for merely nothing... :(

Hope TSG gets their stuff right, the last developer I have faith in now.

with the throttle there is a yellow number in a red square, which is not even suppose to be there except for the passenger train that the locomotive is directly accessible from the passenger section, and not with any of those that have cargo
