EDIT - Id forgot to switch on the brake key, well I feel foolish, although should I have been able to move with the brakes off? My train brake is in emergency yet neither the brake gauge or the HUD show the brakes as applied, and more importantly I dont slow down!! It doesnt matter what I set it to the brakes dont work, the only brake available is the dynamic brake. They worked in TSW2 Im certain of it. This is a game braker for me, if you pardon the pun....
Yeah realised that after Id posted, although I was under the impression - no brake key = brakes on and you cant move off.
I have tried a bit, if the brakes are released from the beginning you do not need a brake key to drive off. However, if they are applied, you can not release the brakes without a brake key and thus can not drive off. I do not know how this relates to the RL unit, but I assume that you can not move it without a brake key.
