I passed the signal shown on S Vorarlberg on the southbound that is not showing a speed or aspect but the brakes applied and train is disabled so I can't move anywhere despite the previous and next being clear. There is nothing to clarify what this there is no mention of it anywhere on the route guide page under any route. What is this signal and why is it stopping the train between clear signals.
I can't see what that is, images aren't loading for some reason, I don't know if it is my end or they are not showing in general. Is there a solution to this?
Cant see the images either. But to me it sounds you passed the border and got into the neutral section. The "Unerspannungs Schutzrelais" became active on the vectron. Basicly you need to power up the locomotive. Not sure its your problem because you gave little to no information.
It is not those, they looked like LED "theatre box" panels. I don't have that much more information as there was no signal identification and most information I thought was shown in the image. I am not sure what those signs are referring to either, I tried translating it and got "main shelter" so that was no help and German route guides don't mention them. S-bahn Vorarlberg could do with one as there are several signs and signals that do not appear on any other routes.
I posted an image in my first post and that is what happened, I don't know if the default save format has changed since Windows updated but it doesn't show. The aspect has one horizontal line and one vertical line, I assume this is this supposed to mean I have the route clear diverting off left or right? If the top line is vertical that would mean straight ahead is clear, but clear ahead or clear to an alternative direction should not mean I SPAD the opposing signal for the brakes to come on.
Your image does not show but I have seen them and I believe they are repeaters that show two lines that are somewhat like semaphore. If the lines point to 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock position then you need to acknowledge pzb and prepare to stop. At least that was my interpretation of them and it worked.
As Scott says, if you mean these, they are signal repeaters. They can in general show these aspects: "Main signal shows Stop", "Main signal shows Clear", "Main signal shows Slow". If they have additional yellow border, it means they also have a 1000 Hz magnet attached and must be acknowledged unless showing "Main signal shows Clear", typically placed after leaving a stop.
Gotta pay more attention to these now, thank you for sharing Didn't understad what they meant before when I saw them on DRA
