Brakes are not working or are too slow on GWR HST 43. Custom formation is class 43>>5 mk3 coaches>>class 43>>class 43>>5 mk3 coaches>>class 43 1.5MI from Reading at 60 mph I set throttle to idle and brakes to full service I got down to 40mph approaching Reading and had to use the emergency brakes to stop what have I missed? The whole of the train is on platform 10 at reading but the doors would open only in the front 5 coaches platform 10 is a Paddington bound platform but I drove there from twyford facing the opposite direction if that matters.
