So, I've last played TSW3 back in the end of december. Well, back then when BRO released there were some major bugs, all of which got fixed in fairly recent post release updates. One of the bigger bugs was the BR425's red taillights being way too bright and illuminating everything around it red. Something that has never occured before on any German rolling stock afaik. I remember it got pointed out tons of times over all the bug reporting threads... I've just started up TSW3 to check if it has been fixed and surprise surprise... Its still not fixed. To be completely honest I just don't really understand why it hasn't been fixed as it seems like this shouldn't be a major thing? It also never happened with any other German trains so it shouldn't be there in the first place (the old BR425 works fine too!). I just don't get stuff like this, this seems like it should be a no brainer, really... Might also be untrue, but to my feeling this red light also causes a small FPS drop too. All in all - come on, can't be THAT hard to fix. Have the PIS boards in the Karlsruher Kopf cabcar been fixed at least? (they were always resetting to blank last time I played)
It's down to the new lighting system so the taillights became really bright. Last I heard was from a few months ago when bro released that the taillight issue was being investigated but that's it. I wouldn't say it's major or gamebreaking but everyone's opinion is different so I won't argue with you
Yeah, thats my latest update on the topic too. You mean the new lighting system introduced in TSW3? Still rather odd then, that its just the 425... I wouldn't call it gamebreaking either, but its still kinda weird when you're doing nightly runs and a 425 comes past you and the rear lights up everything as bright or even brighter than the front My personal experience regarding FPS is that when its nighttime in Bremen main station and the taillights are still on I get a few fps less than when I turn on the normal headlights. But without putting the whole DLC down, for me its just one of those issues where I think its so unnecessary that it even exists as it looks so simple on the surface at least.
