If I enter a 120 km/h restriction above that speed I am getting an emergency brake without having seen any yellow light signal or sign WITH PZB magnets, is that intended? Speed restrictions above 90 km/h IRL are not PZB enforced are they?

No, and I tried it in different trains as well. But after looking it up it seems there is a way for PZB to enforce speed restrictions above it.

After passing the switch-on magnet, the 1000Hz or 2000Hz magnet is switched ineffective after a certain time. If the influencing magnet is reached too early due to a too high speed, an influencing occurs.
With a speed limit of 120 km/h enforcement will start above 135 km/h at the control point.'

I just tested this and it does seem to be correctly modeled!

There are so called „Geschwindigkeitsprüfabschnitte“ (GPA) in which you need to brake to an certain speed before you hit a 2000Hz magnet. If you have to reduce your speed from 160 to 120 km/h you must be slower than 135 km/h when you are 355 meters before the speed restriction, otherwise the 2000Hz magnet is active and you get an emergency break. This GPAs can be at any speed reduction from 100 till 140 km/h. Technically there is an magnet which enables a timer for 1,8 seconds time and in this time period the 2000Hz magnet is enabled. If you hit the 2000 Hz magnet within this 1,8 secs and it is enabled, you had been too fast and the PZB will stop you. If you hit the magnet any time later than 1,8 seconds the timer had expired and the magnet is disabled. There is no indication weather there is an GPA at a certain point or not. It’s all about track knowledge - and you can spot them, because there are three magnets in a row (first one enables the timer, second one is the PZB magnet itself and the third one resets the system after you‘ve passed it).
You can find more information about this in certain articles regarding PZB and GPA or GÜ. Hope you understand what I mean, my English is very poor.

Great explanation, except it's a 2,000-Hertz-magnet that stops the train, not a 500-Hertz-magnet.
I made a video about GPA/GÜ, if anyone is interested.

Good job, I'm sure a lot of people will really appreciate it. Anyone looking for a quick reference guide to GPAs can look here as well.

Sorry, wrote this without checking, of course it’s a 2000 Hz! By the way, I really love your Videos, wish they would had been available about one year ago when I started to learn PZB. So I had to learn it - like Frank Zappa said - „Broadway the hard way“. Remembering that the GPA at HHL before Ahrensburg really drove me crazy, because I didn't got why I could pass it with 90 km/h at one occasion and why not during the next ride. But I was really proud of myself the other day when I did my first ride on BRO with the 101 and without any penalty break.

Every reason to be proud of yourself! I have similar recollections of my early days with PZB. The countless GPAs on HRR used to drive me crazy before I stumbled upon the GPAs on the internet while researching PZB. I, too, was proud when I had my first runs with no problems regarding PZB. :)
