I'd like to make the suggestion of the Brig-Visp-Zermatt line of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, which is part of the route of the famous Glacier Express. The rack-assisted line winds through the Rhone Valley between the SBB station at Brig and the resort of Zermatt in the shadow of the Matterhorn. Set in 2021, the route would feature 3 main types of rolling stock. Firstly, the BDSeh 4/8 EMU, built in 2003-2006 by Stadler Secondly the HGe 4/4 II electric locomotives, built in 1985-1990 by SLM, ABB and BBC Finally the Glacier Express panoramic passenger cars, which operate through to Chur and St Moritz on the RhB. I think it could introduce some unique driving to the game, with rack-assisted sections, steep incline and declines requiring careful driving. With a mix of the Zermatt-Taesch shuttles, R and RE trains along the length of the line and the iconic Panorama Express, this line could be the best way to return to the Swiss Alps.
