Issue Summary: In 'Rapid Transit' there's various places through where the ground is oddly lit, as if an invisible flashlight (or torch, as the brits would say) was pointed at the ground above a foot above the ground. Platform: PS5 Game Mode: Rapid Transit Route Name: So far noticed in 'Cross Town' and 'North Bound' Loco Name: Service/Scenario Name + Start Time: The last station in 'North Bound' had these lights between the tracks. Step-by-Step Instructions: Play 'Cross Town' and 'North Bound'. At various outdoor stations look around at the ground using the external camera view and look for brightly illuminated spots in the ground.
Also, the game gets confused about whether the doors are open or closed. I think in 'Cross Town' was where I was prompted to 'Unlock Doors' but the doors were already open (I couldn't open nor close them in this state). It's easy at the first station for the train to slide due to a slope when the doors are open, and this may have contributed to the train getting in this state. When I restarted the scenario and tried again I saw that the doors automatically closed when the train starts to slide.
...yes I can confirm the same issue on PS4. At the Leipzig underground stations, especially Leipzig Hbf Tief is an overexposure of the lighting. This creates an unrealistic brightness. The underground stations were pre-rendered by baked light. So it is possible that additional light sources were placed during the preservation work, which provide the overexposure.
Some of the underground stations are underexposed, but I'm referring to the outdoor stations. In the case of Magdeburg station what I think is happening is that the lighting for the underground pedestrian passages is leaking up to the surface of the ground.
Magdeburg is further away, I think you mean Dessau (I'm from this area). Small gaps may have arisen during the construction of the route, causing light to seep through. It's always best to post such things with a screenshot, then the devs can see exactly where the spot is...
Another example of the door issue. Doors are open but TSW3 still wants me to unlock them and issuing the door command doesn't close nor open the doors so the most I can do is restart the scenario.
...very diligently collected screenshots! It looks as if point lights not only radiate extremely brightly onto the surroundings at night, but also penetrate the roof of the station. Of course it doesn't look realistic either. This is definitely very helpful, as it shows the preservation crew, where these lightsources are and how they overexpose. The problem with the doors affects the RT Talent 2 train, but it is also correct to include it here too.
I accidentally opened the wrong door in an underground station, but couldn't close the door (pressing 'right' would only try to 'unlock' the already open door, and clicking on the operator's door buttons didn't help either). I tried the save game function to see if resuming the saved game would get back to a working state, but the train was basically dead (all the digital panels for the train operator were off)).
When it rains in Leipzig the rain noise acts as if the indoor underground stations are outdoors. No rain is heard in the tunnels between stations, but is heard while in the stations (and only while using the camera inside the train--the external camera view doesn't have the rain noise).
