Need an expert with British style timetables. Are there any all stop trains to Brighton from London?? If so I want to make a scenario/service using all stops.
No all stoppers to Brighton. Trains to other places, not so far from London, will call at more stops until they leave the mainline, then the Brighton trains stop more. They typically call at Clapham Junction, East Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Hassocks and Brighton. Stations between those are served by trains that aren't going so far. This is to help keep the journey times down on longer services. A train from London to Brighton calling at all stations would be very inefficient and passengers would likely find alternatives to the train.
As an aside I did wonder if any player driveable services are booked to use the Slow Lines between Clapham Jn and Selhurst? Haven't come across any so far, just a couple which cross over at Selhurst and run in (or out) of East Croydon on the slow. Even the Journey run where you are stopping additionally between East Croydon and Clapham is done on the Fast Line.
There are loads of services that use those lines. None of the services that go to Brighton but pretty much all the services that go elsewhere.
I mean in the timetable. There are no other paths available in scenario planner and no paths that allow a service to stop at all the stations all the way to Brighton.
A lot of the services to places such as Epsom will divert off the map past Balham. These services should be easy to find in the timetable as they should be about 12 minutes long. Mike.
Bedford to Brighton Thameslink services will stop at all stations between Gatwick and Brighton but they would start at East Croydon on the route. Unfortunately the game doesn't currently have the correct rolling stock for this.
