Today I'm suggesting potential add ons for the new London commuter route that is yet to be released This post will be dedicated to the thameslink trains that run up and down the Brighton mainline From what we know we're getting a 387 and 377 At the time of posting i don't believe we have a year that this route was set in It could be from 2016-2021 As the 387s were introduced in 2016 Potential Thameslink add ons With the class 700 being the only train Thameslink Currently runs and with licensing issues I'm going to just x this train off as I doubt we will see it for a while Class 319 The class 319 operated on the route until late 2017 and featured in 2 main liverys which were the ex FCC colours and current Thameslink colours I believe there were a few that were painted white but retained the red doors if this was to be replicated it could be treated like the trainbow 395 I would like to see this train as it would introduce Mark 3 units and I think this train is just a beauty This train could also serve on other routes if DTG were to make them including a northern route, a midlan route, wcml and many more Class 377 The class 377s will be nothing but a reskin That would be seen in both FCC dynamic lines and plain liverys with thameslink branding These trains would seize to operate with TL at around 2017/2018 to be honest this and the next train I'm about to suggest are most likely as they are reskins Class 387 Which is as I said most likely along with the class 377 These would stop operating on the Brighton mainline around 2018 I think I would most likely be happier with the 387 But would want the other dlc if that makes sense All of the above would operate from East croydon to brighton I'm sure there has been occasions where the 319s have gone around Clapham and ti victoria but I believe that was very rare but I would like to see these trains as it would add some different colours and density I was going to do the 442 but someone has got there before me go check it out should be round the top its a good suggestion
That 387/1 needs a reskin of 387/2 both are based from ECML Hornsey TMD therefore equipped with 25kv 50hz and 750v DC Third rail Top Contact.
1. I did mention the need of a reskin 2. There was no need for that information As the route is a 3rd rail route
Personally I think a TL 387 would be a good stand-in for a 700, until it's made - if, it's ever made. The missing services could really effect this route tbh.
Yh I think so too Hopefully the lack of thameslink doesn't hurt the route but I'm sure they will release something for this route soon
