Morning just been pondering (as you do!) What sort of train services are going to be on Brighton Mainline? (If we even know..) As these days, a high number of them are Thameslink Class 700s. Without them (or even 377s in their oaths) will make for a much quieter BML! Thoughts?
I doubt they'll put the 465 on anything bar the northernmost mile and a half of the route (maybe in the depot off to the Eastern side of the line just outside VIC itself) as the 465s all run off to the Chatham Mainline out of Victoria, whereas the Southern services all go straight down the mainline
To my understanding, 465s are banned from the BML due to exceeding the loading gauge. Makes sense why Southeastern run only 375s via Redhill and East Croydon when the Sevenoaks area is shut.
