    About
The Brisbane Valley railway line was a railway connection in Queensland, Australia connecting Ipswich, west of Brisbane, to the upper Brisbane River valley. Progressively opened between 1884 and 1913, the railway provided a vital transport link between Ipswich and Yarraman and forged development and prosperity along its path. The line acquired its serpentine reputation because it did not take a straight course when faced with a hill or gully.
The line branched from the main western line to Toowoomba at Wulkuraka a short distance west of Ipswich and struck a north-westerly route towards Fernvale and Lowood before continuing on via Toogoolawah and Blackbutt to Yarraman. It became one of the few branch lines to accommodate passenger and mixed trains and the introduction in 1928 of rail motor services ensured that it retained an important passenger traffic role.
The line was 161 km (100.041 mi) a full length passanger run would take 6 hours, this could be broken up into different sections in the timetable.

This is such a great idea. Maybe Dovetail could also add the Ipswich - Rosewood section and make it a two-in-one. This would allow them to add in the 2000 class rail cars (if it were to be shifted in time to the 1950s/1960s) which look pretty good in real life, and would definitely look good in Train Sim World.

could do ipswich to grandchester as it was the first line in qld meaning an re-enactment could be done as a scenario, would be happy to see this and my suggestion in early diesel era. only would perfer steam as i thought it would be pretty cool running a steam train in a QLD summer storm, could also do this in the transition from diesel to steam.

Now TSW is getting a route editor, probably the best chance to see something niche from down under in the game.

If we wanted this set a bit later (1970's) we could have these locos and railmotor instead
