I know this idea has already been made hundreds of times, but I wanted to add another number to prove how wanted this route is by us. Especially now the GWR licence has been renewed. Intro To make the most out of the regional and intercity services (which all stock are already in the game, just need altering to GWR) this would also incorporate Box and Hullavington alongside to Cardiff, in which 2 variations of 800s run to from the two Bristol stations. 800 Drive at 125 from Bristol to Swindon, via the historic town of Bath or via Hullavington Cardiff. This would also provide in game switching between AC and diesel power supply. An alteration of the LNER 800 stock to upgrade it (which also uses the same 5 and 9 car varieties GWR use) 158 These are used on a variety of all those routes, to and from Cardiff and the Westbury services can to as far as Bath. This can be an altered Scotrail 158. 166/165 These can be used on all of the below routes. Gloucester services as far as Bristol Parkway, and even the Swindon - Westbury services as far as Chippenham for extra services Class 66 Layers The use of Cardiff commuter services could provide as AI between Newport and Cardiff, alongside the 170 which should the XC license be available at some point - be added in the future.
