I would like to see this part of the GWR mainline because I think it is just a pretty section and would like to see era 2019 because I would like to see the IET’s and 150’s and pacers. On the Exmouth line you can see the mainline down to Plymouth upload_2021-6-14_20-30-15.jpeg I can not get another image of the other trains and the picture was taken by me

The Great Western Express was only repaired to Reading in TSW, and Bristol only exists in the timetable of the Great Western Express. In fact, I don’t know when it will expand to Bristol.

The extension of TSW does not seem to be defined more, and the development mileage of the route is too short.

True I thought if that idea because we are getting the West Cornwall Line so ask for another section of the GWR mainline

I said Bristol-Plymouth because there are steam trains during the summer time from Bristol to Kingswaer

Ignoring the two Branch Lines this route is ~101 miles (according to sources I use) which is far too long for TSW.

I could see them at some point in time doing Plymouth- Exeter including the Exmouth branch line?

But if the next TSW 2 Rush Hour engine can hold the German route so it will probably hold this route (maybe)

Besides the fact that the German route is only 65 miles, and nowhere near 101, it isn't about if the engine can hold the route.

The main issue is the longer and more complex the route, the more work and time it takes to build, and thus the more expensive it is to make. Techniques such as the autogeneration of landscapes are decreasing the amount of work needed per mile of route, but 80+ miles still seems to be a little to much currently. Maybe one day we'll see such long routes, but currently it just doesn't seem realistic.

(I'm basing the information in this post on comments made by Matt, Adam and Sam in streams)
