More services added. Now just got to put a few 'delays' in en-route for interest.
    Should be out soon. :)

A few more shots (including one of an 'interesting' livery.......something that I didn't think we were supposed to see any more?).

Great shots. I love a scruffy-looking blue Western, and that blue/blue-grey hybrid 101 is fantastic. I remember seeing lots of those around - in fact, it surprised me how much BR must have re-formed their DMUs to cause it to happen. I think modern DMUs/EMUs are pretty much treated as permanent sets.

Oh I can answer that already. It will do rubbish :) (as do most of my uploads).
Perhaps I need to publicise myself a bit more.......and stop getting distracted by other thi........."Oh look a squirrel".

If you're interested, have a look at this. My first ever poll (but with some nice piccies too :) ).

I hope that 47 isn't one of mine! If it is, let me know which one please.
I'll download that scenario later. Westerns at Buxton? Whatever next? :D

Nope you're in the clear :) It's an own-goal on my part.
(A started, but nothing subsequently done to it, livery from Livery Designer that the game must have 'helpfully' subbed in).

Re the scenario........I suppose I'm going to have to do a return run now? :)

A bit late to the party, I know, but I finally had the time to play this scenario. Coming from Germany, I have a natural affinity for hydraulics since they were the norm for us (in the West). Therefore, I love the 52 (which has some German heritage on top!) but to my mind they have no decent route in TSW - WSR is a 25mph heritage line and GWE is just throttle-to-max/wait-30min/stop. But here, the old girl actually has some work to do :)

I loved the nice introduction (the written text and extended start time) and the AI traffic. The trains in front of you also worked great. You had to be on your toes not to SPAD but you weren’t constantly crawling either. It all blended together very nicely, indeed. I don’t often invest the time into CC scenarios because of their inherent shortcomings vs timetable mode but this scenario was superb and more than worth it. :D

    I mean… I wouldn’t complain… ;) Joking aside, it’s up to you, of course.

Speaking of additional 52 runs - they also ran on Rivet’s WCL, didn’t they? I’ve been meaning to look into that since I reckon the gradients there would be interesting to tackle in one.

I used to run the 52s in timetable mode on West Cornwall but it doesn’t seem to be possible now. I think it might have been enabled by a mod which wasn’t updated to TSW4.

Anyway - yes, I can confirm it’s very much worthwhile and gives them a real work-out. It’s the only route on which I’ve spent any significant amount of time driving Westerns and I’m sorry that it’s no longer possible (you can use free-roam of course, but it’s not the same without a schedule).

Well thanks very much for downloading the scenario and for posting a nice review about it.
You'd be surprised how little feedback I get about anything I've made so it nice to get a surprise like this. (Usually us creators just pat each other on the backs every now and again and that's it ;) ).

Re the Westerns then I did think about putting them in the BR Blue mod that I am putting together around TVL. I initially discounted them as I didn't think they were that popular but, thinking about it, my mod does use both the Seacows and Turbots from WCL so if people have these then, perhaps, they would also have the Westerns? (The better reason for putting them in, though, is the the mod doesn't crash if you have a stock item missing so I could put them in at the last minute?).

Does anyone fancy seeing a Western pulling freight formations? :)

    Or a Western/Peak combo?
