An interesting and comprehensive article. I wouldn't have thought they would go so far as to unearth the CFD's 58s of the Morvan !
Not mentioned in the article that I can see, but a former Class 120 Swindon DMU was used for a while on one of the West African iron ore lines, before it got written off in an accident. Might have been the LAMCO route in Liberia.
