Hello, TrainGeek08 here, and today I'm suggesting the Class 365 Networker Express for Rivet's new Edinburgh-Glasgow route (once bugs etc. are hopefully fixed), you may think "Why is he suggesting a train for a Rivet route on the DTG forums and not on the Rivet forums?" Well, I would like DTG to make this train instead of Rivet as I feel the route would be more popular with a train with a less claustrophobic cab than the 385s Stock included in base DLC: The British Rail Class 365 'Networker Express' EMU in ScotRail livery (ex-Great Northern with dark blue doors and ScotRail branding) Training (In Training Center): Class 365 Introduction Scenarios: Dunblane Networker: (Difficulty - 1) Drive a 365 from Edinburgh Waverley to Dunblane on an all-stopping service Wrong Line: (Difficulty - 3) Drive a 365 from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh, however a 385 has broken down at Falkirk High so you to travel on the wrong line to get past it and continue your journey to Edinburgh Gowing from Glasgow: (Difficulty - 1) Drive a 365 ECS to Eastfield Depot after a long days' work on the Edinburgh-Glasgow route A sample of what the train would sound like: I hope you enjoyed this shorter suggestion to supplement the longer ones, I hope this happens as the route currently isn't popular and a 'proper train' made by DTG could do Rivet a favor if you will, put your thoughts below as per usual, I've been TrainGeek08, you've been reading this suggestion and I'll see you next time for another suggestion for TSW, until then, goodbye
Awesome idea but I think the audio would depend on if AP would license it to DTG but a good idea and I’d definitely buy it
I thought this route was based in the modern day? If so then it would be unrealistic as the 365's are scrapped. Still a good idea though.
Well, 365s ran on the line in 2018, wouldn’t you class that as modern day, I know the route is up to 2023 standards but the route hasn't changed since electrification in 2017-18 so you could add the 365 as DLC
It would change up the look of the rolling stock we usually get in the EMU variety (unless you consider the 465 ) Good idea! It could definitely be good to break away from the emu with front and rear door trains like they're trying to be a house.
Just realised if we get this then we'll only need two more networker classes (165 and 466) in the game to satisfy our needs of a family reunion (all networker classes).
Yes, as all our AC British trains minus the PEPs and 323 are gangway fitted trains (385s, Electrostars) and another AC train like the 323 would be great, with the potential for AP sounds if they'd like to be a part of this as well, it's a win win
Bring it on and for the 365 it's the AC Dual voltage version of 166 Networker Turbo GWML London Paddington to Reading and 465 SEH. The question is where will DTG and Armstrong Powerhouse need to see a working 365 to take accurate measurements and sound? The video is from the AP Youtube channel on how they do sounds. An example here is a Thumper DMU same logic is for the 365 Networker Dual Voltage 365 can layer to ECML South if made as a King's Lynn service from King's Cross
Why does that train looks like it's smiling? Anyways, a train with an actual front window would massively improve Glasgow-Edinburgh. Should've come with the route, actually.
