The British Rail Class 56 is a type of diesel electric locomotive designed for heavy freight work. It is a Type 5 locomotive, with a Ruston-Paxman power unit developing 3,250 bhp (2,423 kW), and has a Co-Co wheel arrangement. Enthusiasts nicknamed them "Gridirons" (or "Grids" for short), due to the grid-like air horn cover on the locomotive's cab ends fitted to nos. 56056 onwards. Under its Romanian railway factory nomenclature, the locomotive was named Electroputere LDE 3500, with LDE coming from Locomotivă Diesel-Electrică (Diesel-Electric Locomotive) and the 3500 being the planned horsepower output.
These locomotives are a good fit as dlc for Tees Valley Line and possibly other routes as they could be seen all over the country.

They could/should include the Romanian version as well, because they are very similar E02A55A9-1513-4BB4-84BA-791BCCA8DFE2.jpeg

Both variations would be superb. The only real difference aside from minor cosmetic was in quality of finish. The Romanian ones were sub par to be fair.

It needs to get the sounds spot on, as it moves from the deep heavy thump into the full on Paxman scream.

And also ideal for any future route based on the Knottingley area as I suggested some while ago.
    It has to come!

Yes, Merry-go-rounds would be good in TSW2.
