Broken Down Scenario Ps5

Hi
Don't know if it's only PS5 or just me, but am trying to complete broken down scenario on WCML Over Schap. As soon as the game says hook up to broken down train, I can't as a red signal doesn't change
Whats going on?

 

You need to contact the signaller who will then let you proceed through the red at restricted speed.

 

And in case you do not know how to do this, hold down Circle.

 

You have to wait a short while before the signaller will give you permission to proceed.
The signaller will then give you permission to proceed at restricted speed.
