I've not been playing this game very long. After today's update to TSW 3 on my PS4 I saw a warning saying that my Save Game data was corrupted. Now when I start the game I have lost all of my progress! I've tried deleting the saved data and reverting back to yesterday's saves but each time that I start the game I am treated as though it is the first time playing and have to select a new character. I've also deleted the game and reinstalled but this has not fixed it either. All other games are fine and the game was working fine after yesterday's update. This is extremely frustrating, can anyone help me please?
It would help that you backup the data onto a USB thumb/jump drive (or other external drive [non optical]). Once that is done this way if it happens again, you restore from the external drive - like I do. If you did not backup this data you are out of luck. I learned the hard way too but for TSW2. As how often to backup is another matter. After each mission or at least every day or weekly. ??
Yeh mine has all been corrupted too. I backed up at the start of January but ive been making some nice liveries and scenarios with the new class 20 since then and they are all gone . Its started crashing regularly too when it never used to.
I'm glad it is not just me that has had this issue. I've not been playing this game long but it seems to be full of bugs. I've had the game crash on me many times and for the last two days I keep having to login to dovetail live. I have the save files stored in my cloud storage but even after restoring these to my system the game still treats me as a new user. Many hours of progress are completely gone. I've never seen data corrupted on my PS4 in the 8 years that I have owned it - only in this game following the latest update.
Yeh all my woes have started this last week. Frequent crashes, dovetail live wont log-in and now data corrupted. It was running pretty nicely before that even on PS4. Ill submit tickets but I can’t really give much detail as it just seems to be random.
