Hi Devs, I am actually very disssapointed with this. The class 37's sound script in the Train Sim World® 4 Compatible: Rail Operations Group BR Class 37/7 Add-On is broken since the 37 first made it's apperance in Train Sim World way back. The issue targets it's sound script with the engine "tractor" sound. basically it goes into a loop rather than that familiar and consistent growl. There are a few 37's in TSW4 now including the one added and all suffer from this issues. There is no way the 37 sounds like a tractor at all, it sounds like the throttle body or carburator is clogged up and it can't throttle properly. This issue does not seem to be related to the locomotive as I watched the RPM gauge and it does not spike or loop.
The chances of the sounds being improved is low but if there's an opportunity to remake the 37, it might be improved then and it could also use the ap sounds but as usual not backported to all the other 37s
I'm going to make a plege on TrainSimCommunity which is another site. There you can find a wide range of sound patches and fixes by 3rd Party modders which fix many things sound related or even some minor things. They may be able to beat DTG to it. I've outsourced all my sound fixes from there for a long time and it made a diffrence.
