Hello there, I am new here, so i am sorry if things like this were already suggested or are known to not be added.
I present to you, a suggestion for Train Sim World, The Bucharest Metro.

CAF BM3 and M2(line 2, the blue one). The CAF BM3 is the newest of all in Bucharest, featuring a rather good looking front part and has a nice sound to it. One thing that I think would improve the experience a lot is the loud sounds during travel. [IMG]
Though, from what I know, people aren't really a fan of driving through tunnels, though, again, I might be wrong.

Another thing that i want to mention is the addition of ATO(Automatic Train Operation).

That's all for now folks, hope this gets somewhere!

It's a great post OP, however I'm not too sure how much a fan people will be of a train that basically drives itself. If it has Automatic Train Operation, there's basically no need for us (The Player) to be there.

Well yes, of course. BUT the train can also be driven in ATP, (AUTOMATIC TRAIN PROTECTION), with the controller(a sort of stick, you can see more in this video, but keep in mind that what you see in the video is a bombardier bm2 with i think atp isolated, with a limit of 60 and reduced acceleration). It is the same for the CAF from what i know.

One year later, new trains for the M5 Line have arrived.

They are called Alstom Metropolis BM4, and they are expected to enter service later in 2025. These trains use the Alstom OPTONIX MG1500 IGBTVVVF traction motor and are specifically designed for automated metro operation.

The BM4 trains bring a modernized design with improved passenger comfort, wider gangways, and a sleek front profile. They are built to operate on the fully automated M5 line of the Bucharest Metro, featuring CBTC (Communication-Based Train Control) for driverless operation.

Since Train Sim World has already included various metro and commuter rail systems, the addition of the BM4 to the game could provide players with a fresh experience in an Eastern European metro system. The unique automated operation could introduce new gameplay mechanics, such as monitoring automatic train functions or simulating emergency manual control.

Would love to see this train in the game!

Metrorex already loses their LOVE if they see someone taking pictures, licensing this out to DTG would be a no-no. As a fellow Romanian, I love the Bucharest Metro, but I seriously doubt it would ever happen.

lol this is so obvious that it's hilarious but it seems that the OP didn't understand that what makes a train simulator awesome is precisely being able to control it

    Let me make myself clear

Have we seen an automated train control system in TSW before? I have personally not, I said what I said about ATO knowing that it wouldn't make it in the game.
These trains have ATP control, which is done, as I mentioned above, manually. This would be the ideal way to control the trains. ATO in real life is used mainly by the drivers that know how to maneuver the trains in manual mode in a precise manner.

..And I do understand that being able to control the train is what makes a train simulator awesome, that's why I made this post, because I would like if one of the lines from the Bucharest Metro were to be recreated in a realistic matter. The CAF trains are good looking and this line is the busiest in Bucharest. With that being said, it basically is the most popular line in the city.
