Bug In Peninsula Corridor

    During 143 San Fran to Gilroy holding at CMF nearing the end of the service, a double train spawned in (10+ cars) at San Jose. My F40 and the normal AI's F40 got stuck at the red signal unable to pass. I see this had been addressed before, and the developers apparently aren't making any changes to the route. It is impossible to finish the service after playing for 1.5h on the F40 that's already driving me crazy. Not to mention there are almost no passengers after they all got off at Bayshore. Great work Dovetail.

    if this is the one I think it is, the workaround is to temporarily uninstall the MP-15 dlc, then you can run the service.

    once you have run the service you can reinstall the mp-15 dlc.

    thanks a lot, just for your information I don’t have the MP15 switcher DLC, just the MP36 Baby Bullet. it’s weird how the F40 can couple this many cars though.

    they don’t exist in timetable passenger services?

    This doesn’t seem to be the same bug as the one with the special train made up with the MP15 as that has two locomotives at one end whereas this looks like two normal formations joined at the cab car end with a locomotive resulting at each end. Such a formation does not exist in the timetable so a very strange thing to encounter.

    I know at some point (addons manager related) the whole timetable became broken and trains started spawning strangely and I did encounter trains that faced the wrong way with the locomotive at the wrong end and this could have occurred here and one such train has ended up joining with one the right way round to form a double.

    regarding the loco at each end, i believe it shouldn’t happen (yet it did) since the loco and cab car must be in different directions in the route. also, i don’t use the addon manager at all since i only download liveries from the creator’s club, everything i have in game should be original.
    the passenger operations also annoys me so much since i have observed on the SEHS and NTP routes the passengers all get off after one stop or they just simply don’t get on the train. since the majority of addons i have are all from older generations of TSW, this really kills the immersion while enjoying the game.

    Yes, all the trains should be facing the same way with the loco at the same end. It looks like one has spawned the wrong way round got stuck and another one the right way round has run into the back of it. Something like that.

    Addons manager is just something that’s built into the game and works behind the scenes so not something you use as such.

    Passengers getting off at the first stop is certainly an annoying bug. Passenger behaviour is something that needs a lot of work doing by the devs but any improvements made may not be ported back to old routes so we may be stuck with it.
