REF While I see/saw on a PC after waiting at Berta Juction the light chaged to green (according to that REF video on Youtube) after the other train is out of the way, on my PS4 the light stays red. Is there a bug on the PS4? OR what did I do wrong so that light stays red? Please and thank you [EDIT] Also asked on Youtube on that video link
It's not bugged as I completed this over the weekend. It does look like a save game bug though as the light goes green as soon as that train clears the section.
So to do it: One must start the mission and sure not to save at all? Or if I do save not load the save until after I pass that light? Please and thank you
The safe bet is to never load a save - no matter what - and finish scenarios/services in one sitting. Depending on the AI traffic in the scenario, you might be fine to load a save after passing the signal but there’s no way to truly guarantee that a save will work.
I am just wondering. #1 Why is that? #2 Why does it work for other routes? For example I was doing that Sand Patch Grade and Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen - and it worked fine.And for the Bakerloo Line it is working so far so good. #3 Also for this route after all of the training, it worked fine for The Setup. Why is this mission different from mission The Setup of the missions that I have done so far (not including training)? Please and thank you
Because the dispatcher and any loco scripts start fresh. That can result in un-intended loco behaviour and, far more often, red signal issues (as the fresh dispatcher possibly assigns new priorities than the original dispatcher). Luck. That’s all there is to it. You were lucky. Saves may work some times but not others. Ususally, it doesn’t work.
