Put your London area suggestions below or reply to this message and I'll see what I can do for you, thanks everybody in advance
Omsi 2 would still be better - Route building plus the community is nicer - OMSI 2 despite the dated graphics is fairly realistic plus its community is actually really nice if you excuse a few of them - DTG probably wouldn't add a route building considering xbox so....... it'd just be a worse OMSI 2.
That is a fair argument but like you say OMSI 2 is getting old in terms of graphics but then again, bus sims aren't DTG's protégé so maybe a new start for DTG in the bus sim community but yeah, overall, OMSI is better
Albeit - Id say graphics isnt everything, I think TSC is better then TSW and I'd die on that hill because its better optimized + better scenario and route creation. OMSI 2 has decent graphics if you know how to do the 4GB patch and have good routes (Bristol, West Country, 24 etc etc) its a lot like tsc but busses instead of trains.
Yeah, Bus Sim UK could be its separate title to OMSI like TSC is an entirely different game to TSW, not a bad comparison there
And as for this: Royal Borough Collection: K1: Kingston - New Malden via Surbiton K2: Kingston Hospital - Hook K3: Esher - Roehampton Vale via Norbiton K4: Mansfield park - Kingston Hospital K5: Ham - Mordern 131: Fairfeild Bus Station - Tooting Broadway 213: Fairfeild Bus Station - Sutton Bus Garrage 71: Cromwell Road Bus station - Chessington World of Adventures 371: Kingston - Richmond Manor Circus 57: Fairfeild Bus Station - Clapham Park 152: New Malden Fountain - Pollards Hill 265: Tolworth - Putney bridge And for the OMSI fans (unrelated to the Borough of Kingston aka the royal borough) route 24: Pimlico - Hamsted Heath -> Oldest unchanged London bus route.
Give us a Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Dart 10.8m for bas game - Most famous single decker bus in London.
Oh thanks for that, will add it into the suggestion later , with a shoutout too for this and the DLC bus
Oh and also dlc maps???? I'd love coast liners and Brighton busses - I love those routes there really interesting.
Id swap the 1.08 and regular Envrio200 just because the first is used on the "k" routes which would definitely be a selling point of the route (I've checked and loads of omsi players want the K routes in the game)
Why are you talking about buses on the TSW forum? Have you put a proposal like this on the Microsoft Flight Sim forum as well? I mean, they too have nothing to do with buses, but their engine looks better than UE4.
Why not make the buses around Chatham Kent that way it's just outside the door for the devs. There’s the Chatham dockyard railway by the office. This fits off topic
I knew someone would catch on, I suggested it in a train forum because I want DTG to make the game but you know, I honestly don't think DTG will make the game anyway but regardless, worth a shot No I haven't suggested it to the MSFS forums, but nice to hear their engine works better, I'm guessing UE5 then or is it an entirely different game engine
Sutton and Uxbridge area London Buses operations would be fantastic. Currently they are operated by Go Ahead London General and Metroline respectively with very interesting types and routes if you go back further in time.
I seriously didn't think of that, well Arriva Kent and Essex operate through Medway so maybe a DLC idea, are you suggesting a forum move or just generally in regards to Off-Topic
Not a bad London route suggestion but this could come as a DLC later down the line though, so not all is lost
Many of the Sutton routes operate to surrounding areas such as Kingston, Croydon, Morden, Putney and Wimbledon. Also the X26 which passes Sutton en route from Croydon to Heathrow and return would be a cool long route with potential for the previous 726 iteration which ran even further during its Green Line and London Coaches days.
I don't mind that, I entitle everybody to their opinions on these threads but I wanted to suggest something different for a change but I promise that the train suggestions will become the norm again next year
Amazing suggestion TrainGeek08! Would love to see a solo in a bus Sim as those busses go right past my front door! Great suggestion for Scotland! Although personally I'd choose the West side of the north of Scotland. with regular coach services between Oban and Fort William as well as Solo bus services between Oban, Benderloch and the surrounding areas.
Thanks mate, thought to try something different, maybe a Glasgow Strathclyde DLC map which includes the First Glasgow, McGills and SPT buses which serve the area
Yea! Would also like to see West Coast Motors DLC going around Oban! Strathclyde sounds really nice though! Could do alot with that!
Yep, I've been thinking about features and Livery Designer is in there, instead of Scenario Planner, the other feature would be Route Editor, to make your own route on the map, for example on the Scottish Map, you could make a route from Dundee to Forfar, then to Brechin, then to Montrose and down to Arbroath then round back to Dundee again, you could utilise routes already in game or you can make the route wherever you want it to go
Awesome game wish someone hurry up and make it console needs decent one to rival lack lustre unrealistic bus sim 21
I... Question how you found this post. I don't care for necroposting personally but it's just surprising.
Im a bus driver whos driven north, south, west, north west & central. But im from north so id love to see my area, but it would mean the world if they gave us somewhere at least in London because bus sim & bus sim 21 are clowns in my opinion just making routes and bus based in Germany or other European locations, when London, Scotland & wales plus multiple places in the UK are so iconic…
Love this suggestion! Having stagecoach buses in a bus sim game would be amazing for me as their my local! Plus you'd get all the amazing scenary of the Highlands as well as the lovely Welsh country and London city. Brilliant idea! If dtg made this I'm sure it would be amazing!
I must admit that I would love to play a bus simulator game that could challenge Bus sim 21. I love Bus sim but I would love it could be set in real life major cities such as London. I am sorry for bringing this post back up. I admire buses and I just wanted to add that there is a lack of London Buses in Bus sim 21. Despite this I still play that game everyday as it is incredible. Just wanted to say that the original photo of the Enviro 200. I have been on the route W14 as it is relatively close to where I live. I have a passion for buses but I doubt there will be another bus sim since Fernbus sim is already out which I am not a fan of at all.
