Buttons Stop Working

Don't really know who to show this too but had this problem for a while but only on my xbox one x. I've tried reinstalling the game and still the problem happens.

This happened to me as well. I also reinstalled and everything to no avail. I eventually figured out the solution is in the settings menu. The setting for button prompts needs to be selected on. When this is done all your buttons will work again
