Buying Preserved Collection Routes

I am right in thinking that if I buy Rapid Transit for tsw 1 using the game pass discount, I can use on tsw2 as well?

Yep, that's how I got a lot of my DLC content.

You have to own the original game though, you can't just buy the DLC.

I don't think there's any restriction for Xbox. DLC can be purchased from the Microsoft Store on console or web if you don't have the base game. It also means Game Pass players can buy DLC without buying TSW2020.

I have noticed on PS4 sometimes you get those restrictions, though. Still buying TSW2020 is worth it to get those included routes accessible in TSW2.

 

May I ask what is the ‘game pass discount’ ?

I mean if there is a built in discount for game pass users, surely this would go towards explaining why Microsoft do not offer DTG many sale slots.

 

Games in Game Pass for Xbox and PC get 20% discount on the game and 10% for DLC.

Game Pass games do go on regular sales. DLC slots seems to be neglected over bundles and games.
