There appears to be a bug with the Banking Comm on the C40-8W for Sand Patch Grade. There is no option to turn the Banking Comm on or off, and there is no way to enable the radio fuse either. It is virtually impossible to haul a consist of loaded coal wagons up the grade with one loco giving power and three others practically serving as useless dead weight. Is there a temporary workaround for this issue? Thanks!
Its already a well known issue. It however should only effect DPU's and not other locos connected to the lead loco.
Right, this will become a big problem if and when we get a scenario editor that allows us to make up our own consists. We won't be able to use this otherwise excellent locomotive in a helper situation as lead or trail. It also reduces the number and variety of current scenarios and services. Unfortunately, this was mentioned only once in a long ago, introductory stream and then apparently ignored or forgotten.
