    Hi,
I went back to this locomotive on the SPG and have been racking my brains on how to cold start this locomotive. Any tips? I've tried basically everything but no cigar.

    Thx

Engine isolation switch set to start/stop/isolate. It's on the back wall. Then it should start, when pressing the start button.

I did try that but nothing happened when I pressed engine start. I had the isolation switch in start position.

    Ok, I figured it out.
    1. set isolation switch to isolate then press engine start until ringing stops (up to 5sec I guess)
    2. set isolation switch to start then press engine start
    viola, it works :)
