Trying to complete the C40-8W introduction on Xbox. The Generator switch is not an allowed function even though the scenario wants me to turn it on.
It's there, just hard to reach. Sit in the 2nd man's seat and ferret it out, under the driver's console.
Plug in a USB keyboard, press left arrow and it will bring up the view of the panel where the control is situated and then you can switch it on easily
...the same on PS4. My solution is to get up from the chair and bend down or kneel for the switchboard, where the generator switch is located. Otherwise you'll get to the switch via controller menu. But it's right that the handle for the switch is very difficult to grasp. It could be improved, because in the AC4400 it is much easier to touch it...
