Hi! First of all, i want to tell that blending air & dynamic is great on the new ES44C4. I don't have complain for that. But there's one thing that kinda bothered me, yep it is the minimum reduction airbrake application. IRL, i'm pretty sure the initial reduction/minimum application is 6 psi on any modern american freight locos. So when we apply minimum reduction, the ER (Equalizing Reservoir) should drop from 90 psi to 84 psi. But the current ES44C4 in Cajon Pass not behaving like that, instead the ER dropped to 82 psi, thats 2 psi more, and i think it breaks the impression of this loco. 2 psi may not looks much, but it can make big difference in braking/slowing performance of a train down the grade. Here's the example from my last run. FYI the minimum application indicated at 25% application according to the HUD. Thanks, cheers guys.
