So, it seems to me that the ground textures for Cajon Pass itself are very bland to the area, especially when you compare the textures of Kuju's Cajon Pass on TSC, as well as the area IRL. I'm not sure if its possible for better texturing of the ground would be possible in a patch, but it defiantly would help the area look better overall....

I hadn't focused on the ground textures, because my critique was about the " model railway " look of some portions of the track where the ballast is not blended in. But, now you mention it, it does look a little featureless.

I haven't been in that area for many years, but, knowing its history of wild fires, maybe there should be more vegetation?

2 personal photos of the area from a few years ago near Mormon Rocks, still plenty of vegetation out there.

It did strike me as being far too "yellow desert" looking than it should as well.

Interesting. I can't see the radiators on the lead loco, but I guess the Chief needed a little help on the mountain.

Yeah, that Chief was an extremely late train that day, I'm assuming 1 of the P42's died on the route, hence why I think a Gevo was called in for support.
