I couldn’t find a feedback thread for Cajon Pass, so I’ll post it here. On Cajon Pass, road vehicles in some instances are floating significantly above the road, alongside the fact that they tend to constantly pop in and out of existence. While it’s not a “devastating, game-breaking end of the world” issue, it certainly is something that I feel could be addressed.
CJP is pretty much abandoned at this point, don't expect a patch unless they decide to do a new release for the route.
Is there a single US route where road traffic is not floating, clipping into things and spawning in and out of existence? It's just like floating scenery items and buildings. The regular quality for US routes...
Plenty of floating moggies passing through trees and cows on the PF dlc too. Actually I find it quite amusing, so don't patch it.
I agree the traffic spawning in and out after a short distance along that one uphill section outside of San Bernardino looks really bad. Especially along a stretch where there is not much for you to do so you are looking around more so its really noticeable. Conversely on Boston-Providence as you approach Providence you pass a yard with a large multi-lane highway beside it and you don't see traffic popping in\out like that. There are so many things like this where they seem to have done a better in older content but for whatever reason lowered the bar in newer releases. DW
Antelope Valley has floating vehicles too. Saw some RVs parked and they were floating. It made me think of Hank in Breaking Bad saying you can tell a drug lab RV because it's lighter. These were floating so I think I drove past a parking lot of 20 Walter Whites!
