In the Shop Class scenario I ran into issues refueling the locomotive. The front tank cap opened correctly, but the hose did not want to attach. After fiddling around it finally did connect and I was able to start fueling. Once it finished fueling, the option to close the cap did not appear until I fiddled around a bit more and I was able to continue. I know there is a lack of detail there, and I was able to finish the scenario, but it was annoying and I'm sure players with less experience will have even more trouble.
I had the same issue, it was late, so I ended up exiting the game before figuring it out What was the fix for you, apart from fiddling around LOL
I ended up picking up the fuel nozzle and then closing/opening the fuel tank a couple times. Might have set down the nozzle and picked it up again. I'm really not sure, but there was quite a bit of clicking around.
Yes, the scenario completes, but the fuelling is a bit finicky. One key move is to park the lead loco in close proximity to the fuel pump. The other strange thing for me was that, after attaching the fuel line to the loco tank, the instruction was to immediately remove it, " fuelling complete. "
The hose kept getting stuck on things before I got the dispenser to the fuel tank, so I just moved the train forward a few more feet and that solved it. But after that experience I definitely won't be manually fueling again.
I had the same issue so exited the game. When I came back for a second go I experienced the same issues then out of frustration I placed the mouse pointer over the centre of the opening of the fuel tank and after about 20 clicks the fuel nozzle finally attached.
