I would really like if the Caledonian Sleeper was added to the add ons, it doesn't even need to be the full route as that would take hours to complete. I realise this is probably very unlikely but I can still suggest it I auppose :P.
I think best way to get a train like that one in the game, would be a loco dlc similar (but different in that’s it’s a new loco) to the Class 66 Cleaning unit. Then like that unit have it sub/timetable onto routes where it runs.
As said yes… a loco dlc but like the 66 cleaner unit, it’s planned to sub in on future routes rather than be for one primary route.
Yes and No, it’s not just a loco dlc type proposal, in that the Class 66 unit was different to a loco dlc in that it’s supposed to be on more routes in the future whereas a loco dlc like the Acela was only ever guaranteed for Boston and was layered into Trenton (but their was no guarantee of that) I proposed this way in that, whilst I don’t know the schedule of the Caledonian Sleeper I can’t imagine it’s very many per day. So having it limited to a one route guarantee means very little out of it compared to a wider guarantee of layering.
The Acela was announced at the exact same time as Trenton and works if you only own that route. The RHTT was primarily for SEHS but then layered onto later routes, as any loco does. You're making a pointless difference.
It wouldn’t have enough gameplay to be worth making. The service could be included if the route is made but it would be faked with ordinary stock that already exists in game if there is any suitable for the represented time period.
Well pick any other loco pack what introduced a new train. And just cause it was announced then didn’t make it have a guarantee of layers for that route, LIRR was announced well in advance of Trenton yet not layering. Its Not as any other loco does as that’s my point of distinction the 155 DB Red was a loco pack and not available on routes such as Bremen. The RHTT has been given a guarantee unlike that one to be layered on other routes that’s the distinctive difference. i made this proposal as if the loco in question the Caledonian sleeper came as a loco with a route or as a standard loco pack for a route it would be even more so limited in services for just one route. No loco except the RHTT has been given guarantees of appearing in future routes. I was also differentiating as the 66 isn’t new when it released as a RHTT variant also the Acela works lonesome from it home, as it is now part of loco’s what have been decoupled from routes.
Yes great if we could get the WCML ,and yes it would be great with a class 92 added to the game , but I don't think this will happen anytime soon .Would the Fort William section actually be busy enough to warrant making a new route etc a class 66 and 73 combination sounds good tho and it would be interesting driving this
