Steam Caltrain Mp36 Use With Metrolink Rotem Cabcar…no Dynamic Brakes.

I realize this might be a bit of a long shot because I’m not sure if anyone else uses the Caltrain MP36 with the Rotem cabcar but I do on occasion. Usually to add variety between the F125 since both that and the MP36 operate daily within the Metrolink system. I use a repaint of the MP36 from the Creators Club. The problem is, the dynamic brakes on the MP36 don’t work when controlled from the Rotem cabcar. The blended braking works (dynamic brakes and air brakes at the same time) but if you try and use dynamic brakes manually from the cabcar, nothing happens. This makes it difficult when coming down the grade between Lancaster and Vista Canyon.

Maybe there’s someone else out there that also likes to run the MP36 with the Rotem cars? Is there anyone out there who may have found some kind of fix for this issue? No telling if we are going to get a new MP36 so the Caltrain one is the best we got right now.
