Ok, I can dream, but it would be so good if this was added, along with the 730 (for the cross city line) and the 196 to run the new services. Voyagers between Bristol and Manchester also use it, as well as freight. The line reopened to stopping passenger traffic yesterday, after 80+ years, and the excitement locally was palpable. I went for a run that took in all three new stations (Pineapple Road, Kings Heath and Moseley Village) and there was a genuinely festive atmosphere at all of them, with people looking around, taking photos, etc., all helped by the warm sunshine. It was a good day! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c79jvw0qx34o
Technically it's already in he game and probably 80% finished. And it's possible to drive it too. The track is all laid. The earthworks are done. There's houses, streets and industrial units. There's parked cars. There's road bridges. All lineside equipment is there including a GSMR mast. Now, all that is in an area not normally viewable or accessible which says to me that they likely intended to originally include it in BCC but very late in development they decided not to. It is possible to set a route along it and drive it, but you will get the out of bounds game over when rejoining the BCC at the southern end of the Camp Hill Line. Alternatively, out of bounds yourself at that south end and set route into Birmingham New Street. Dovetail should 100% go back and fully implement the line into the game properly, again, a lot of the work has been done.
Here's some pics of said Camp Hill line. You can see that a lot of work has been done on it already which makes it's incomplete state even more puzzling. Like why go to the effort of terraforming, laying track, placing all the lineside equipment and stuff like bridges and buildings in an area which cannot be seen or accessed under normal circumstances?
