Steam Can I Delete Tsw2 Now? [solved]

So I bought the upload pack and waited for it to install and copy all my old routes over, which it did very successfully. Now I wondered do I still need it installed or can I uninstall it to make more room on my system? Thanks

 

You can delete TSW2 if you've moved everything across to TSW3 as the routes you had in TSW2 will be available to you in TSW3 as part of the TSW compatible collection.
However, a lot of people are saying that the TSW2 routes (TSW compatible) run worse in TSW3. Also bear in mind that the TSW2 routes under the TSW compatible system are the same as they were on TSW2 so no upgrades have been applied such as new lighting etc. Dynamic weather is an option but that's it.

 

Not quite true. The TSW3 Version Sherman Hill, Boston Sprinter and Sprit of Steam got the new Lighting System.

 

Yep, when i bought TSW3 i've copy on it all tsw2 routes and unistalled tsw2 and one.

Uninstalling TSW2 does not delete your TSW2 user profile. So you do not lose anything by uninstalling it since you can re-install it again if you change your mind later and your TSW2 progress will still be there.

Just keep your TSW2 profile safe. I make an automatic backup of the TSW2 and 3 profile folders every week just in case.
