Can The Db Br 101 Work If I Don't Have Rhein Ruhr Route But Other German Routes?

Good morning, I saw the db 101 in offer but I noticed a route is required, so I have a question: can I use the br 101 without having Rein-Ruhr route on other German routes I have? I have Dresden-Riesa, Hamburg-Lubeck and Bremen-Oldenburg. And is the same for other add-ons with requirement

 

You need to have HRR in order to use the Br 101. But maybe hold off on buying it, there’s a new and improved Br 101 coming in less than 4 months.

Older loco DLC’s require a base route to be attracted to but new (TSW 3+) loco DLC’s no longer have that requirement. For example, the Acela express can be used on Both Amtrak routes but you can buy and use it with having either routes

No. Only TSW 4. You don't need a route for it.

 

The BR101 works for me without Rein-Ruhr, even though it technically is supposed to.

If you want services and scenarios, then you would need to buy the routes. But there's no information on where it would add and how much it would add

 

Did they mess up the 101 porting from TSW2 to TSW4?
I checked the Microsoft store and it explicitly requires HRR to use the 101. Then I deleted HRR from my installed game. I launched TSW4 and selected the 101, even tried it on the Salzburg-Rosenheim route and everything works perfectly. Now I can reinstall HRR.

 

Probably a separate pak file, for the original 101 which AFAIR was a DLC for HRR not an original included asset.
